MENTORS' CORNER

WISE Women in Science and Engineering
Prof. Jameson has been active in supporting academic women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) disciplines. At UIC she designed workshops preparing women for an academic career, known as The Post-Doc Institute. Some of the materials she prepared for the workshops are available there, and in the pages Preparing for an Academic Career, and The Job Search. She also prepared and delivered workshops for training of search committees, executive committees and promotion and tenure committees to be sensitive to unconscious bias in the recruiting, hiring, retentioon, promotion and tenure process, some of which materials are given here.
